Today I went to the most beautiful library in University of Sheffield - Western Bank Library to print my documents as my Ucard is expired and this is the only library that accepts guests to enter into.
I love the library for its classic & modern mixed design, as well as the fantastic view outside the French doors. This library is just next to the Western Park which enables the users enjoy the great sunshine and the green lands while they are studying.
However, in the past year, I seldom came to this library because it is really far from my accommodation and the Western Bank Library doesn't open for 24 hours.
This is the view from the entrance.
I really love the open design, especially the stairs. The atmosphere makes me feel relaxed.
Take a look of this corner, it makes study fun! It's very comfortable to sit here and have a day dream.
There is a common area in the main entrance of Western Bank Library and is usually arranged for exhibitions. The recent exhibition is about circus. The statues are so horrible that I just wanted to escape away.
The man on the right hand side is said to be the first Britain to have his whole body with tattoo.
It looks more beautiful than in the past when I visited. Western Bank is in progress, too. :)
