2015-01-22 Tesco!

2015-01-22

There are some fun to have as a HR. For example, being allowed to log into hunter websites is one of  the benefits. I have a number of interesting experiences which are not proper to share with my colleagues as they may not be able to capture my feelings.

So, what delighted me during my work? There was a time that I logged in to the hunter website to look for qualified candidates for interview. Suddenly, a familiar key word just pop up. Guess what?! That's a foreigner who used to study in Sheffield Hallam applying for a job in my company! It was just rare that I can still feel the connection to Sheffield though I am in Taiwan. Another case is, I saw a friend who I made in Sheffield applied for a vacancy in my company! I was so surprised at the moment when I opened his resume but I just had to be fair and admitted that he was not qualified enough for the position. Aside from this, noticing someone who used to work in the brands I like also makes me happy, i.e., there was someone who used to work in TKMaxx which is my favorite store in UK!

Anyway, I adore anything relates to my UK life. And, today, I am pleased again. I had an interview with a candidate who used to work in Tesco Taiwan! Oh! And this is the first time that I know there was Tesco Taiwan! According to The Guardian, Tesco exits Taiwan in 2005 and was absorbed into Carrefour. What a sad! I couldn't join the time that Tesco develops here. (Tesco to Pull out of Taiwan)

When it comes to Tesco, yes, it is one of my most beautiful memory in UK. Therefore, it was in my visiting point for my trip to UK in December 2014. I just wanted to feel the household shopping memory there. Oh, and I can't put the self checkout system and the reduced stuff alongside as they are all my favorite parts of Tesco.

2014-01-24 Nose

2014-01-24

I really can't stand my stuck nose anymore!
After I come back from UK, the nose allergic comes back to me again!
I used to have the problem of allergic on my nose which I usually felt hard to breath and sometimes got running nose. However, during the days in UK, the problem was solved without any efforts! It is said to be the contribution of the dry weather and the clean air in UK. OMG, I felt so good that I didn't have to worry about my nose in my daily life!!!

Nevertheless, just one week ago when I landed Taiwan, the old friend comes back to me again!!! It is really annoy that I can't breath freely and I need to keep tissues with me all the time, not to mention the embarrassed feeling I have in front of the public!!! It is really a nightmare to me!!!

Today I went to see a doctor again, just as I used to be. I asked the doctor about the ways to root out the problem. He said that it is impossible for me to escape from it but there are ways to mitigate it. I am here to make the notes as reminds and I decide to follow the suggestion which are provided by the doctor to avoid the serious nose allergic again!!!

1. Sleep regularly.
2. Keep the environment clean: Wash the  duvet cover and the sheet every two weeks.
3. Food: Don't eat desserts and cold drinks.
4. Doing exercise regularly.
5. Wear a mask to avoid the cold air when go out in the early morning or in the evening.
6. Use heater in the morning and in the evening.

As the recommendations above, I plan to:

1. Sleep at 23:30 and wake up at 7:30.
2. Wash the duvet cover and the sheet every two weeks and to dry them under the sunshine.
3. Reduce the times that I drink Taiwanese beverages and the frequency I have desserts!
4. Doing Figure Robics which is created by a Korean lady everyday! ( I plan to do it at between 4-6 o'clock)

5. I am going to wear a mask in the early morning and in the midnight when I am going out!
6. I am now looking for a economical heater as the winter actually last for only few days in my city.

OK, I am now feeling so energetic after I set up the goals!!

OH, and the most important of all, I want to finish my Chinese CV by the end of Sunday!!
OH~ please god bless me for a good job!!
